Summer is coming, and so are many bachata events. Do you want to learn some popular moves or refine your technique? We got you! Our 2.5-hour Sensual Bachata Workshop is designed just for you.

🕺 Bachata Sensual Open Level (19:00 - 20:15):

• We will cover essential sensual moves perfect for beginners and great for advanced dancers to refine their technique.

💃 Bachata Sensual Imp/Adv (20:15 - 21:30):

• We will introduce an exciting combo to spice up your dance repertoire and impress your partner.

Both sessions focus on body isolations as well as body rolls, head rolls, and other core sensual movements to make you feel challenged and inspired.

Cap off the night with a free social night where you can practice your new moves and connect with fellow dance enthusiasts.

FAQ:

➡️ Do I need a partner?

• Whether you're coming alone, with a partner, or rolling in with your entire friend group, you are welcome! 😄 During the workshops, we’ll switch partners because sharing is learning but if you want to stick with your partner, that's cool too, just let us know!

➡️ I don’t have any experience in bachata. Can I still join the open level?

• For the open level, some basic knowledge (like basic steps, turns, and prep) is required. We hope you read this FAQ early enough to start learning bachata so you can join our open level workshop!

➡️ I dance other dances a lot but have no experience in bachata. Can I still join the open level?

• Good news: if you’re a dancer already, you’ll probably pick up bachata basics faster than you think. With a few hours of practice, you’ll be ready to join the open level.

➡️ I don’t know which level to attend.

• DM us for advice, or better yet, come to our free social dancing night on Friday. We’ll dance, chat, and figure out your perfect level together.

➡️ I’m not joining the advanced level, but there’s a 1-hour gap before the party. Will I be bored?

• Not a chance! There’s a very cool bar where you can sit, chill, drink, and chat with fellow dancers. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure hour (like board game RPGs).

➡️ How can I access the venue?

• Just type “De Vaart Squash Club” into Google Maps. We’re on the second floor!

➡️ Car, bike, or public transport?

• De Vaart loves them all! There’s free parking for cars and bikes, and the train station is just a 17 minute walk away (according to Google Maps, don’t blame us if you power walk it in 15).

➡️ Can I wear sneakers or do I need special dance shoes?

• Sneakers or your favorite high heels are fine if they’re comfy and clean.

➡️ What’s the vibe like? Will I have fun?

• High-energy, lots of laughs, and plenty of dancing. Think less “serious ballroom” and more “party with a purpose”. We are fun (usually).
